The Iringa Baskets are an important piece of cultural heritage and tradition in Tanzanian society. Each basket is solely produced in the Njombe region in southern Tanzania, and handwoven by female artisans.

Tightly handwoven by skilled artisans, the milulu grass is originally a greenish hue when first weaved. It then changes to a beautiful natural colour, as it ages over time.
